Both studios are beautiful, spacious, and and filled with natural light. The Woodbury school  has showers, changing rooms, and everything you need to assist your yoga practice as well as promoting a feeling of being at a sanctuary.

The studio is a beautiful and serene space for your yoga journey. The spacious studio features full length mirrors to allow participants to fully see themselves and adjust their alignment as needed. The studio has purified air, natural light, and the environment is open and fresh.

Most of our classes are heated with humidified moist heat to promote sweating which purifies the body while allowing access to greater, safer, deeper flexibility. We have purified, ozonated air to allow fresh clean breathing.

  1. Dear Mary,

This is Sharon from Arbutus House! Regards and Namaste. I am taking Hot Yoga w/ your wonderful teachers.

I have moved Arbutus House Upstate! …It is Lotus Lodge at the foothill of the Catskills between Woodstock and New Paltz. It is a log house on 12 acres w/ creeks etc. Wonderful! In the spirit of Arbutus House, I am letting like spiritual leaders use it as my seva…at no cost…for retreats etc. I wanted to let you know of this development. To see the house, I am sending you to my link at http://www.sharongoldblum.com/index.php click on Lotus Lodge. Hope to hear from you soon….I know you are doing so well and congratuations on your creation of spirituality on Long island!!! sharon

  2. Hello Mary….please send me your e-mail address. I want to copy a couple of people on my message to you concerning CPR/First-aid training. We’ll discuss further this evening……JB

  3. This studio is awesome! Run don’t walk to a class today!

  4. I would like to do a trial class Wed morning. Do I need to sign up ?

  5. Aloa from Woodberry Mary! I wanted to give kudos to Karen today and in so doing make a comment. I’ve noticed several students open the door on their own whenever they feel hot. I made a casual comment to Karen when I came in today about a gal who’s a regular in that camp. I asked her (Karen) where I should go to stay out of the blast of cold air. She directed me then when the gal went for the door a little over half way through the class Karen graciously asked her to leave the room. It’s your business to run as you choose but I’d suggest there are a few customers who for some reason don’t go to childs or simply leave the room and as a result some trainers/leaders allow the chickens the rule the roost. That’s it from here. Be glad you’re in HI. The storm’s a comin! All the best.

  6. PS- As I said to Karen if the trainer decides to open the doors that’s fine. They’re the boss and we all need good bosses, right?

  7. Thank you Mary for Yoga Oasis. You and your team of talented and incredibly dedicated instructors have changed my life with a poweful true yoga practice. I am especially grateful to you for adding Anita to your weekend schedule and to Anita for giving up her weekend time to teach. You know how they say “if it’s not spiritual it’s not yoga”, that’s what makes Yoga Oasis a place of integrity and a perfect balance of the physical, spiritual, and mental yoga practice. I love Anita’s class, if it were not for her weekend hours I would not be able to take her class due to my work schedule. All your instructors are wonderful, and while I am truly grateful to each and everyone, Anita is what keeps me at Yoga Oasis West where I can only come to class on weekends, and just to take her Sunday class I give up the choice of all the week nights at East. Thank you Mary, thank you Anita for the perfect blend of some spirituality and a powerful physical practice that I feel for days. I am truly grateful to both of you. Namaste, Laurie

  8. Thanks Mary and James for being there post Sandy We very much appreciate the warmth, meditation, stretch, friendship and of course a hot shower you provided during a time of need!
